End-to-End Encryption
Your evidence stays yours.
Issue content is encrypted on your device. The server stores only ciphertext — and per-issue keys are wrapped individually for each participant.
AES-256-GCM content encryption
Issue bodies and replies are encrypted in your browser before they ever reach our servers.
ECDH P-256 key exchange
A per-issue content key is wrapped separately for each participant using their public key — only the sleuth and publisher on a thread can decrypt it.
Your private key never leaves your device
It is wrapped with your password (or passkey) and stored encrypted. The server cannot read your content even if compromised.
